Position: Retail Sales Manager and Local Marketing Lead

Overview: Responsible for day-to-day management of local sales and marketing efforts of Flagship retail store in Charlottesville, VA. This is a consumer products and apparel brand that requires its flagship store to have key leadership.

Position Requirements:
Available most weekends
Sales and Marketing experience
Connection to influential groups/people in Charlottesville/ UVA community
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Creative marketing ingenuity
Understanding of Social Media and how to use it effectively (Facebook, Twitter and other digital media outlets).

The qualified candidate for this position will be interested in being given a financial goal for sales. They will determine the most effective way to achieve this goal with little oversight. Some examples of requirements to meet the goals, other than staffing the retail store everyday, will be driving traffic to the store by electronic means, as well as, using a "feet on the street" approach.

This position is full-time. There may be an opportunity for a part-time role as well.

Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Compensation:                                                                                     

Manager: $15 to $20 per hour based on experience

Part time: $12.50 to $17.50 per hour based on experience

Sales Commissions are part of the package
